Thika Water & Sewerage Company Limited (THIWASCO) held community engagement meetings on Thursday September 26th, 2024,and Friday September 27th 2024,with the residents of Kiandutu area.
During the sessions, THIWASCO was able to disseminate information on the current proposed pilot water kiosk and the upcoming water and sanitation projects in the area to be funded by the Danida Sustainable Infrastructure Funding (DSIF).The projects are expected to improve our services in the area benefiting over the 25,000 residents of Kiandutu Settlement .
The residents had engaging discussions with the THIWASCO team in regards to reducing non revenue water in the area.The residents accepted to have the proposed projects implemented and promised to offer their full support towards running the projects as expected.
Stakeholder engagement and customer service continue to be an integral part to THIWASCO’s operations.
